Mixed Fried Rice Recipe * |
Rice - 200 gm
Soya sauce 1 table spoon.
Ajinomoto 1 tea spoon (it increases taste in the Chinese food, you can use this if you like).
Refine Oil.
Water for boiling rice.
(Please use enough water for boiling the rice).
How to cook Mixed Fried Rice Recipe
Wash the rice and soak the rice for 15 minutes, then drain out the water.
Boil rice with some salt till slightly hard (al dante), then drain out the water and allow to cool. If possible, keep the boiled rice spreading on a big thali or plate to cool.
In the chicken pieces, add salt, pepper and soya sauce. Keep aside for few minutes. Then fry in oil till colour changes. Keep aside.
Heat little oil in the pan, pour the egg, sprinkle slight salt and pepper. Stir the egg to make this scramble. After frying this, keep aside.
Keep aside the finely chopped vegetables.
Fry the prawns with salt for few minutes till water evaporates. Keep aside.
Now add the remaining oil to wok or big non stick pan. Add the vegetables, salt and pepper.
Fry for 2-3 minutes, then add the rice and mix all together. Now add the fried chicken pieces, egg scrambles and prawns. Keep frying and mixing all together. Now add salt (as per your taste - taste the rice before adding salt because in egg scrambles, chickens, prawns and in the vegetables, salts were added), pepper and Ajinomoto (optional). Lastly, add the chopped spring onions.
Put the flame off and serve hot.
You can have this with Vegetable Manchurian Recipe (veg or any other kind), fried chicken etc with your Mixed Fried Rice as the side dishes or you can eat the mixed fried rice with some good sauce or even sweet and sour chutney.
I love fried rice of any types - mixed fried rice, egg fried rice, vegetables fried rice.
These are more or less the same recipe. In the egg fried rice, just add only egg scrambles. Do not add chicken pieces, prawns.
