Raw Banana Kofta Curry (Kach Kalar Kofta Curry)

Raw Banana Kofta Curry or Kach Kalar Kofta Curry made from raw boiled bananas are fried dumplings that are cooked in a vegetarian spicy gravy. This simple Bengali styled Raw Banana Kofta Curry or Kach Kalar Kofta Curry are delicious as well as nutritious. Raw green bananas are fibre-rich, vitamins rich, good for heart, diabetes and tummy problems. These have good source of resistant starch, weight loss benefits. But if you eat just the boiled raw bananas, all benefits mentioned above will be in tact. But I think that the fried raw bananas cooked in a very spicy gravy have less nutritious value.

In our childhood days, when we would suffer from diarrhea, my mother used to give us mashed boiled raw bananas just mixing slight salt and few drops of mustard oil, as diet. We would eat this with boiled rice. This is tasty also. This could help to cure diarrhea.

The lists of benefits mentioned above may be derived from the modern research on the raw bananas.  I collected the information from the internet.
